Empromptu raises US$2m pre-seed to help enterprises build AI apps

Enterprise AI startup Empromptu has secured US$2 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate its vision of enabling companies to build full software applications using natural-language prompts.

The platform claims users can simply tell its AI chatbot what they want, whether an HTML page, a JavaScript app or a backend workflow, and the system will automatically generate and assemble the application. The company says the goal is to compress weeks of development into minutes, making software creation accessible across technical and non-technical teams.

The fresh funding will support product expansion and onboarding of enterprise customers as demand grows for generative AI tools that automate development tasks and reduce engineering bottlenecks. Analysts say Empromptu’s pitch taps into a rising trend: organisations are seeking faster ways to prototype, deploy and iterate AI-driven solutions without relying on large engineering teams.
