Apple launches Creator Studio suite priced at US$129 per year to court content creators

Apple has unveiled a new subscription-based Creator Studio suite aimed at video, audio and digital content creators, marking a significant expansion of its professional creative ecosystem.

Announced on Tuesday, the Creator Studio package will cost US$129 per year and bundles a range of Apple-developed apps designed to streamline content creation across macOS, iPadOS and iOS. The move positions Apple more directly against Adobe, Avid and other established players in the creator software market, while reinforcing its push to make Apple devices the default tools for modern creators.

According to Apple, the suite integrates advanced video editing, audio production and publishing tools, with deep optimisation for Apple Silicon chips. The company says the apps are designed to work seamlessly across devices, allowing creators to start a project on an iPad or iPhone and finish it on a Mac without friction.
