Tunisian engineer Khouloud Abada has launched RenYou, a digital health platform designed to improve long-term dermatological follow-up by combining artificial intelligence with direct supervision from medical professionals.
Founded in 2023, RenYou aims to streamline skin care monitoring by offering users personalised guidance supported by dermatologists and other medical specialists. The application seeks to simplify access to dermatological care while maintaining professional oversight, positioning itself within the growing field of telemedicine.
Unlike conventional teleconsultation platforms, RenYou focuses on continuous and individualised follow-up rather than one-off consultations. The platform allows users to better understand their skin conditions, track changes over time and receive structured recommendations tailored to their specific needs.
Artificial intelligence plays a central role in the application, helping users analyse their skin health and identify potential issues. The technology supports, rather than replaces, medical professionals, with dermatologists involved in supervising care pathways and validating recommendations.
RenYou also adopts a holistic approach to dermatological care by integrating lifestyle and nutritional factors into its monitoring tools. The platform reflects the view that skin health is closely linked to overall living habits, including diet, stress levels and daily routines.
In addition to its core services, RenYou develops educational content aimed at raising awareness about skin health and prevention. The company says this content is intended to empower users with reliable information and encourage long-term behavioural changes that support healthier skin.

Digital health solutions have been expanding rapidly across North Africa, driven by rising smartphone use, improved internet access and growing demand for remote healthcare services. Tunisia has emerged as an active hub for health technology startups, supported by a young, highly skilled workforce and a growing innovation ecosystem.
RenYou positions itself within this trend by targeting a specialised segment of digital health, as demand rises for personalised, technology-enabled healthcare solutions that extend beyond traditional clinical settings.
