Cameroon’s state-owned oil and gas company, the National Hydrocarbons Corporation (SNH), has announced a major reshuffle of its senior management, appointing six new officials, five of them women, in a move that significantly strengthens female representation within the corporation’s leadership.
The appointments were approved during a meeting of SNH’s Board of Directors held on Dec. 3, 2025, and formalised through Decisions No. 104 and No. 108 signed on Dec. 10 and Dec. 12, according to the company’s in-house magazine covering the July–December 2025 period.
Among the most notable appointments is that of Nathalie Moudiki (née Ada Engamba), who was named Second Advisor to the General Management, becoming the first woman to occupy the role since the corporation’s establishment.
Moudiki, a business engineering graduate and trained lawyer, has more than 27 years of experience at SNH, having joined the company in August 1998. She spent much of her career in the Legal Division, where she held several senior positions before being appointed head of the department in June 2019. Under the new arrangement, she will continue to oversee her existing responsibilities while serving on the management advisory board.
The board also appointed Daniel Olle as Advisor to the General Management, while retaining his position as Director of Human Resources. Olle holds a master’s degree in business law and joined SNH in 2010 as a legal officer. He later transitioned into human resources management, rising through the ranks from head of the personnel department to deputy director and, eventually, director of human resources, a strategic function for governance, institutional stability and skills development.
Several key operational departments were also reinforced through the reshuffle, with women appointed to lead maintenance, finance and information systems.
Delphine Mai-Awe Domwa, an industrial maintenance and production engineer, was appointed Director of Maintenance and Safety. She joined SNH in 2008 and has since held various technical and managerial roles, particularly within the Gas Division and the General Affairs Division. Domwa will also retain her role as second mission officer, a position she has occupied since 2022.
In the Finance Division, Corine Ayayi was promoted to Finance Director following a career spanning more than 20 years at SNH. A specialist in savings, treasury operations and financial investments, she has previously led departments responsible for financing, portfolio management and cash management.
She will be supported by Souadatou Labarang, who was appointed Deputy Finance Director while continuing to serve as head of the treasury and financing department. Labarang holds two master’s degrees in finance and financial markets and has played a key role in managing the corporation’s funding and liquidity operations.
In the digital and systems space, Ngounou Leugoue (née Moutchi Ngbango Rikia) was appointed head of the Information Systems Division. A graduate in information systems engineering and decision support, she has overseen several technology-driven projects at SNH, particularly within the Maintenance and Safety Division, where she previously served at sub-director level.
Separately, under Decision No. 105 signed on Dec. 10, 2025, Martial Yannick Djiani Tchuimbou had his mandate renewed as Secretary of the Internal Procurement Commission (CIPM-SNH) for the period running from June 14, 2025, to June 14, 2027.
An electrical engineer with a diploma in petroleum data management, Djiani Tchuimbou began his career at SNH’s Petroleum Information Centre as an assistant research officer in data management and archiving. He later became acting head of the Seismic Data Archiving and Management Service in November 2016. In June 2023, he was appointed deputy director of the centre, while also serving as secretary of the internal procurement commission. He was promoted to head of the Procurement Unit in June 2025.
SNH said the reshuffle reflects a blend of internal promotion, continuity and institutional strengthening, while also reinforcing gender inclusion at the highest levels of management.
The company’s magazine noted that the appointments align with President Paul Biya’s inaugural address on Nov. 6, 2025, in which he pledged to place the empowerment and protection of women and young people at the centre of his seven-year mandate.
According to the publication, the appointments were made by SNH Executive General Manager Adolphe Moudiki following the board’s resolutions.
