Advans Ghana Savings and Loans has held a special awards ceremony to recognise clients who demonstrated outstanding financial discipline as part of the Advans Aha Ye D3 Promo. The event, hosted at Advans Savings and Loans – Newtown (Mallam Atta Market), brought together clients from across the country to celebrate the culture of savings and reward their commitment.
The Advans Aha Ye D3 Promo was designed to encourage clients to save consistently over a three-month period, rewarding not only the highest savers but also those who demonstrated remarkable improvement and discipline in managing their finances. All clients across the bank’s branches were eligible to participate. The promotion included weekly and monthly rewards, ranging from cash prizes and household appliances to electronics, with an ultimate grand prize for the client demonstrating the highest overall savings performance.

In his keynote address, Guillaume Valence, Managing Director and CEO of Advans Ghana, emphasised the transformative power of disciplined saving: “At Advans Ghana, our mission is to empower clients to build financial security for themselves, their families, and their businesses. Savings is more than money set aside; it is the foundation for growth, opportunity, and resilience. Through this promotion, we celebrate those who are committed to making consistent, responsible financial choices and investing in their future,” Mr. Valence said.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of awards to top savers. Mrs. Agnes Naadu, owner of Agnaa Enterprise and client of the Okaishie branch, emerged as the overall winner. In recognition of her exceptional financial discipline, she received a fully paid two-night trip to South Africa, covering flights, accommodation, and guided tours.

“I am truly honoured to be recognised by Advans Ghana for my savings discipline. This promotion has motivated me to be more consistent with my finances, and winning the grand prize is a wonderful reward for my efforts. I hope my story inspires others, especially women entrepreneurs, to take their savings seriously and plan for a stronger future,” Mrs. Agnes Naadu, overall winner of the Advans Aha Ye D3 Promo, said.
Other awardees included Mr. Isaac Larbi, first runner-up, who received a 55-inch TCL television for outstanding savings growth, and Mr. Bernard Oduro, second runner-up, who was awarded a mini fridge. Additionally, top savers from individual branches received essential household appliances, such as sound bars, blenders, and rice cookers, to improve quality of life while reinforcing the value of consistent saving.
Mr. Valence also highlighted the significant contribution of women entrepreneurs to Ghana’s economy, noting that women constitute the majority of Advans Ghana’s clientele.

He expressed pride that the top prize was claimed by a female entrepreneur, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to supporting women-led businesses and promoting financial literacy across all client segments. “Financial discipline is a journey, not a one-time achievement. Initiatives like the Advans Aha Ye D3 Promo make saving rewarding, motivating, and accessible. We want our clients to see that consistent effort today leads to tangible benefits tomorrow,” Mr. Valence added.
Advans Ghana reaffirmed its dedication to innovative financial products and client-focused initiatives that foster long-term stability, business growth, and a culture of investment among SMEs and individual clients. The institution reiterated its commitment to continue launching promotions that reward loyalty, encourage disciplined savings, and strengthen its relationship with Ghana’s small business community.
