Pearl bank launches Pearl Santa to celebrate festive season with customers

Pearl Bank, formerly PostBank Uganda, has rolled out a new festive campaign dubbed Pearl Santa, kicking off a season of customer appreciation across selected branches nationwide. The initiative will see a costumed “Pearl Santa” make surprise visits between December 9 and 23, engaging customers, cutting cake, and sharing the bank’s transition story.

Priscilla Akora, Head of Marketing and Communications at Pearl Bank, said the campaign is designed to give customers a warm, personal festive experience while reinforcing the bank’s ongoing rebrand. She noted that the purple-themed Santa aligns with the bank’s corporate colours, symbolising a renewed commitment to stronger service and closer customer relationships.

Akora emphasised that the rebrand is more than a cosmetic shift. With regulatory approval from the Bank of Uganda now secured, Pearl Bank is moving ahead with activities tied to its mission of expanding financial inclusion and supporting entrepreneurship. The Pearl Santa rollout marks the first major customer engagement under the new name, signalling a more intentional approach to customer experience.

Pearl Bank says the initiative highlights its drive to build lasting, human-centred connections as it transitions fully into its new identity.
