Smartphone brand TECNO has rolled out a continent-wide consumer engagement drive at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 in Morocco, unveiling interactive pop-up stores and fan zones designed to blend football, technology and lifestyle experiences.

The activation is anchored on TECNO’s “Power Your Moment” campaign, which officially launched at the tournament’s opening ceremony. The event brought together invited clients, partners and guests, marking the brand’s transition from ceremonial sponsorship visibility to direct, hands-on engagement with football fans and consumers.

From the opening day, TECNO opened its physical pop-up spaces to the public in key host cities, offering visitors an immersive brand experience centred on artificial intelligence-powered devices, mobile photography and gaming. Fans are able to test TECNO’s latest smartphones, explore camera and AI features, and participate in interactive challenges linked to AFCON-themed content.

The company said the initiative reflects its long-term commitment to African consumers and youth culture, using football as a unifying platform to connect technology with everyday moments.
